My middle daughter is hardly without her guitar. We are a home school family, so this does not interfere with her school work. Well, that isn't entirely true. There are times I find her lying on her bed just strumming her latest favorite tune. Or on the living room couch. Or on the front porch. Ok, it might interfere with school on some days. It makes my heart happy that she has this kind of free time to do what she loves. Once a week we meet with other home schoolers to do school at a local park. She took it with her last week and played while we lunched. It was a beautiful afternoon. Not quite as beautiful as her, but beautiful all the same.
